GreasePaint wins “Best Director Documentary Feature” at the 2014 2nd Annual Costa Rica International Documentary Film Festival.

On July 20th, GreasePaint had it’s first festival premiere outside of the United States in the beautiful country of Costa Rica.  The Central American premiere was held in the town of Montezuma, which is located near the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula.  The film’s director, Daniel Espeut, attended the Costa Rica International Documentary Film Festival with his wife Laura, where GreasePaint was the closing night film.  The film had been recently acquired by Cinema Libre Studio in Hollywood and was released on DVD on July 1st.  The winners of the festival have been announced and GreasePaint has won for “Best Director Documentary Feature”.  Once he heard the news, Mr. Espeut said, “I couldn’t be considered the best director without having the best cast and crew.”
